Devonport Yacht Club

Devonport Yacht Club is a family-friendly sailing and boating club with an active social calendar.

The club is located on the Devonport waterfront with Panoramic views of the Waitemata Harbour

The venue is available for private hire for functions such as birthday parties, weddings and funerals.

Prizegiving Night

This was enjoyed by 74 members and their guests over a meal on Saturday evening. The silver was on display. Yacht entrants  were 40 for the season with 23 of them DYC yachts. The Duder Cup was won this year by our Sailing Master Grant Daniel in Zeppo.


Grant was also presented with the Endeavour Trophy for the club member completing outstanding  service to the club demonstrating both perseverance and endeavour. He has been a member for 16 years and included a solid 6 year Treasurer post plus another 2 years on the Committee. He has completed an around North Island voyage and last year sailed solo to Tonga and Fiji return.
